Below is a collection of episodes from “Educating for Social Change”, the former community radio programme of the Wellington Workers’ Educational Association (WWEA).
The WWEA would provide a progressive view on world affairs to radio listeners in Wellington through its weekly community radio programme.
The show, entitled Educating for Social Change, was aired on Wellington Access Radio 106.1FM every Sunday from 4-5pm. Produced by Victoria Quade and John Anderson the programme provided a working-class view of current events, while simultaneously training working people in radio production.
