On Saturday 7th September the WWEA hosted a workshop on citizen journalism as part of the national Festival of Adult Learning. The workshop, held in Toi Poneke, included an introduction to citizen journalism, a session on blogging and social media, and short talks on street photography, community radio and podcasting. Many thanks to our participants and our volunteer tutors – Victoria Quade, John Anderson, Sebastian Ryan and Tommy Kelly – for making the day a great success. Thanks also to ACE Aotearoa for the grant in support of the event.
